ORGANIC MATERIAL:
"I applied FRESH horse manure (my 2 Belgians produce about 100# per day) which I spread to a depth of about 10" on the treated area, then I turned it over gently with a shovel. I'm careful about my soil structure . . . I never use a rototiller. That's why I was so happy and amazed that the portion treated with GEOLIFE® was completely composted in a week and a half. After I planted I mulched heavily with organic rice straw, to save water and to control weeds.

 

TASTE and QUALITY:
"All the vegetables I planted had excellent flavor and aroma. Everyone I fed from the garden raved about the taste. The Fava Beans were the tastiest I've ever grown. My pumpkins are day glow orange."

 

YIELD:
"I picked at least 400# of Fava beans from two 30' rows and two 50' rows, a 40% increase above what I usually get. In early October, I am still harvesting green beans, squash and lettuce.

 

PESTS:
"Fortunately we don't have many pests here in Coastal Humboldt County. What I did notice was that the Fava beans in the GEOLIFE® treated area were not attacked by aphids but the untreated area I had to spray (with garlic & clove oil) a couple of times."
